Technic

1. Why is the moveLOC dropper post extremely  light and although more stable then our competitors?
   The moveLOC dropper post is consequently designed with high performance materials such as 3D forged AL 7075 aluminium,  high performance plastic for locking and gliding system, etc. In addition to this the moveLOC dropper post is consequently load capable optimized. Therefore both seat post tubes are designed as an one piece design. For sure this method is more expensive in production, but unbeatable regarding weight and stability. One key feature for light weight is the patented mechanical locking system. As an result of locating the locking pin on the side face of the dropper post tube, the system doesn't have any influence on the stability of the post tubes. In fact the moveLOC dropper post consists of less high end components, which make it strong and easy for maintenance. No one else continues this path as consistent as Vecnum for manufacture dropper posts.

2. Why is the moveLOC dropper post only available in 30.9 mm outer diameter?
   One reason for that is weight. As long as it comes to a post with 200mm travel, you will get a huge weight disadvantage, if you do the whole outer post tube just 0.7 mm thicker. Using a shim for different seat post outer diameter makes the post also more flexible, if you change your frame.
   More flexibility and less weight!

3. Is the moveLOC dropper post also available in 27.2 mm diameter?
   No. Our design is not convertible to 27.2 mm according to our demand concerning stability. 

4. Why do we use a fully plastic outer cable housing for the remote?
   You can form the cable housing by hot air gun in a way, that the cable suits perfectly to the frame.

5. Why does the moveLOC dropper post work nearly backlash free?
   We designed a patented anti-rotation system for our post.  Thanks to a spring loaded guiding system there is nearly no backlash.

6. The moveLOC is indexed at four points. Is this just as well as infinitive travel on a dropper post?
   We think that for point indexing is better that infinitive travel. For sure we can also make more steps along the travel. According to our experience 4 positions are perfect, because you can find the positions really quickly and intuitively.  With 4 positions you always know, where your saddle exactly is located and which handicap you have to consider during a movement on your bike.

   The moveLOC dropper post is available in 3 different length and can be fitted optimaly to your frame size as well as your body size.

Installation & Maintenance

1. Is there any possibility to use the moveLOC dropper post on bikes with internal our stealth  cable routing?
   Yes, fore sure. The post can be used at every bike frame. As a reason for maintenance and usability, we decided to go with an external fixed cable routing. So you can route the cable actuated remote on the top tube (standard) as well as on the down tube. Today, many frames come with an internal cable routing in the down tube, which can also be used for the moveLOC dropper post. You just have route the cable along the seat tube down to the bottom bracket. For an easy installation we are shipping some cable holder and zipties.  

2. How does it work regarding service, if I am not located in Germany?
   You order your dropper post directly from the design & manufacturing company in Germany.
   We are working together with an excellent parcel service.
   This allows to us offering a good and quick service within a few days, directly from our company all over Europe.
