STEP 1 - Cable routing

Type of cable routing

External cable routing with moveLOC (E).
Internal cable routing with NIVO (I).

Your bike frame has to be prepared for internal cable routing.

STEP 2 A - The perfect matching length

Maximum insertion A [mm]

Insert seat post as far as possible into the seat post tube.
Mark seat post on the upper edge of the seat post clamp with a marker, remove the post from the frame and measure the insertion length up to the marking.

If you touch down with the seat post head before you reach any block in the seat post tube (kink, linkage lever, etc....), the maximum insertion is not finally achieved. To detected the maximum insertion, you should use a longer seat post.

STEP 2 B - The perfect matching length

Please adjust the seat post to your usual saddle height for going uphill.
Please measure the distance between the middle of saddle rail and the upper edge of the seat post clamp. Make sure that you take measurement from centre of the seat post tube. tube.

STEP 3 - Do i need a shim?

Inner diameter of seat tube [mm]

Variant 1: Please measure the outer diameter of your old post with a calliper. Tip: Most seat posts do have the diameter printed somewhere on the lower end.
Variant 2: Measure inner diameter of your seat tube with a calliper.

Potential errors
Please make sure to measure the wide, lower part of the seat post which gets inserted into the frame – not the upper stanchion tube of the seat post. Please make sure that there isn’t already a shim in the seat tube of the frame when measuring the frame seat tube diameter.

STEP 4 - The correct seat post clamp

Outer diameter of seat tube [mm]

Please measure the outer diameter of the seat tube. This dimension is dependent on Step 3 which means you cannot change the value if you selected an inner diameter of 30,9mm or 34,9mm.
